Medium size sealed box stand mount or bookshelf speakers. Warm but detailed: a very easy speaker to live with and one that would be a relief if you're living with a pair of ported metal dome floorstanders... These are some of our favourite speakers: we always have a pair connected to show components in their best light.
A lovely example of the 'Bextrene' sound: perhaps not the last work in detail but they share a beguiling naturalness with the LS3/5a, but sound bigger.
The woofers can sag and scrape. This can be cured by a period upside down, or by rotating them - it need not be terminal!
