The predecessor to the ARCAM Alpha, this amp sold by the truck full. The sound may not be thae last word but is full and punchy (especially if this is your first proper hi fi amp: it was many peoples!), and somehow more enticing than a lot of modern solid state. Tone and balance controls. Lovely wood sleeve.
We have several: each are fully serviced, with new capacitors. A good bet for a long term, reliable, beautiful classic amplifier.
The tuner is surprisingly good too.
