Just bigger than an LP, beautiful aluminium case, quartz locked direct drive turntable with a linear tracking arm. Don't confuse with the plastic product coming out of japan on the top of midi systems in the early 80s: this is a serious turntable, and close to high end. It is a pleasure to listen to, for the sound but also the ability to play the tracks in any order (it really works: an optical sensor scans the record before play and works out the gaps), to repeat and turn itself off. This is a very easy turntable to live with - too easy: you may suffer a loss of respect from hi fi poseurs.
You can get some lovely T4p cartridges, both MM and MC.
We have 4 of these, two silver and two brown. They are all perfect, with new arm drive belts (a small achilles heel, but easy to rectify when you've worked out where the screws are).
