The same bass driver as the Heybrook HB1, and some of the same virtues: efficient and musical, and rewarding a good amplifier and source. We refoamed the bass units but then tried some new replacement originals (still made by Scanspeak in the Vifa factory, and no longer as susceptible to foam rot), and prefrred the replacements by quite a margin. So this is a mint pair with new bass drivers...
The cabinets may have been made in the clink on Dartmoor...
