Biotracer turntables are feats of engineering that could not be contemplated by today's small volume turntable manufacturers: active cartridge damping and linear tracking give a fantastic platform for a cartridge to perform at its best.
This is the 'budget' biotracer but a) it looks very right, and of its time, b) it is front loading, so can go in a stack, and c) even though not quartz locked, the speed stability is extremely good (better than most LP12s for instance). This is a serious turntable!
